Hi, I'm Nina.
I qualified as a Business and Economics teacher in 2005 and have spent more than 20 years working in education across secondary schools, sixth form colleges and large comprehensive schools.
During my career, I have held a range of leadership roles including Head of Department, Head of Faculty, Director of Sixth Form and Assistant Headteacher. I have led teams across multiple subject areas, supported staff development, and worked closely with students, families and school leaders to improve outcomes and wellbeing.
Alongside my leadership experience, I hold SLE status and the National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership (NPQSL). Most importantly, I continue to teach, giving me an up-to-date understanding of the realities and pressures facing education staff today. I am Safeguard trained and CRB checked.
In recent years, I have developed a particular interest in staff wellbeing, mental health and sustainable careers in education. Alongside my work in schools, I have undertaken training in workplace wellbeing, life coaching, counselling skills, mental health first aid and workplace mental health advocacy.
I now combine my extensive educational leadership experience with specialist wellbeing training to support schools, teachers and leaders through workshops, INSET training, consultancy and one-to-one wellbeing support.
My vision is simple: to help schools become places where staff feel valued, supported and able to thrive, because when teachers flourish, pupils benefit too.
If you would like to discuss how I can support your staff and school community, I would be delighted to hear from you.
